Choosing the core line
Colour range is where assortments quietly die. Six finishes look impressive in a brochure and disastrous on a shelf with 40 cm of space. We recommend two finishes per core SKU and let the trial line carry the novelty.
A practical starting order for retail buyers is 200 units across two or three SKUs, not 200 units of one. That spreads the risk, gives your staff something to compare, and still hits the first price break.
